This amazing cheese boat with cheddar and mozzarella is easy to make at home and will take you to cheese heaven.

Cheese Boat

2 - Eggs

1½ cups (250g) - Heavy cream

1 cup (100g) - Cheddar

1 cup (100g) - Mozzarella

⅓ cup (30g) - Scallions

1 - Mini baguette

1 - Lemon 

To taste - Chives

We advise that you prepare all the above ingredients before starting.

You will typically need: a scale, measuring cups, and mixing bowls.

 

1 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2 - In a mixing bowl, pour the heavy cream and the eggs. Whisk until well combined. 

3 - Add the cheddar, the mozzarella, as well as the scallions and stir. 

4 - Cut the baguette in half, preferably with a bread knife. Remove the breadcrumb inside to make space for the mixture. Sabatier knives are excellent French blades we recommend for professional and home cooks.

5 - Lay the baguette onto a baking mat placed on a baking tray. Pour the mixture into the baguette slowly with a spatula.

6 - Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 40 minutes. Perform visual checks a few times and adjust if needed. 

7 - Once baked, squeeze a lemon over the baguette and garnish with some chives on top. 

8 - Enjoy!
