Classic baked potatoes can be a little boring sometimes, so let us share these delicious twisted baked potatoes.
We named them "twisted potatoes" due to their fun shape!
What we love about this recipe is that it is very simple to do and does not require a lot of time. Indeed, it is simply baked in the oven.
Furthermore, to twist our recipe, we added some Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs to it. Believe us, it makes a difference!
Bon appétit!

Twisted Baked Potatoes
1 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2 - Properly wash the potatoes and run through the potatoes in their center with a long skewer (as shown in the video).
3 - Using a sharp knife, cut the potatoes in a spiral and all the way until the knife touches the skewer. Then, gently space out each slice of the spiral.
Tip: We recommend you use a chef's knife for this task. We love Japanese knives! We also love this reversible cutting board with integrated hand grips from John Boos.
4 - Place a small piece of butter in a bowl and microwave it for 15 seconds (or until fully melted). Set it aside for later.
5 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan, thyme, and stir lightly using a whisk (or a spoon).
6 - Brush the potatoes with the melted butter using a pastry brush (boar/silicone).
Tip: Make sure that all the potatoes are coated with butter.
7 - Cover the potatoes with the crumbs mix, both inside and outside, using a spoon (or your hands). Place them on a baking tray with a silicone mat (or parchment paper), and bake them at 350°F (175°C) for 80 minutes.
8 - Once the potatoes are cooked all the way through and the crumbs have become golden brown, they are good to go. Remove the skewer before plating, and sprinkle some freshly cut parsley on top.
9 - Enjoy!
